Oklahoma Tornado Relief Mini Sessions | Bloomington IL photographers

If you haven't heard we are having mini sessions Monday night, May 27, from 4-8PM with ALL proceeds going to the American Red Cross to benefit the OK tornado victims.  $50 will get you a 20 min session, up to 10 digital images and help out people in dire need!  In addition we will be offering either a 10x20 or 11x14 mounted collage for only $15 (again with proceeds going to Red Cross).  The collage would make a great gift for dad or grandpa this father's day.  Attached is an example of what we can do for dad.  The first picture was a pinterest idea (would give the photographer credit, but there was none listed). We will have the letters in the studio (and a better example after this weekend).   Email heclickssheclicks@gmail.com to schedule your session.  For any Chicago fans, you can participate in these mini sessions this Sat from 11-1 at Graue Mill in Oakbrook.

Smoky Mountain Photographers | Central IL Photography Tours

We had such a great time photographing the Smoky Mountains!  Some early mornings and late nights but the photographs we had the opportunity to take were amazing.  We enjoyed capturing the sun as it rose over the mountains, the stars at night, waterfalls, rapids, wildlife and more as we adventured through the state park!  We hope you join us for our future trips.  Next planned is a day trip in Chicago!  Check our calendar at www.HeClicks.SheClicks.com to register.

Beautiful Baby C | Bloomington IL Newborn Photography

Take a look at this beautiful baby girl we had in our studio recently.  She rocked her session!

 

 The baby's safety was our priority in this top picture.  Please be advised that she really wasn't hanging high off the ground for a photograph.  Mom and Dad had their hands on her the whole time, and her bottom was barely (an inch or less) off a large beanbag.  A lot of photoshop magic here :)

Bloomington IL Photography Education | Chicago Center of Photography Guest Speaker

From time to time we like to open our studio to guest lecturers.  This picture was taken when Warren Perlstein came to visit and spoke about his 40 years experience in the photography industry and touch on architectural photography.  He was very well received by the crowd!

May 31: We are excited for our first DIY Social: Photo Displays on Fri May 31 from 7-9PM. This is a free event.  Join us for a fun, free, evening as we discover new ways to proudly display photographic prints! It's time to get those pictures off the computer and on to the walls. We'll show DYI photo craft ideas, ways to repurpose items into frames, etc. This is a 21+ BYOB(everage) event. Socialize with others who share the same hobby while getting new ideas and sparking your creativity!

 

June 5: Night Photography Workshop 7-9PM $30.  Our popular Night workshop will be returning June 5 from 7-9PM.  The first hour we will be lecture and the 2nd hour will be all hands on fun!

 

June 10:  We are so excited to offer our first photography classes Just for Kids!

 9AM-12PM: 6-11 yr olds  $40/child min 4 max 8

                                          1PM-4PM: 12-16 yr olds $40 child min 4 max 8

DSLR not necessary, point and shoot cameras will be just fine!

 

June 11:  All day Workshop for Teens

entering 6th through 12 grade 8-4pm (min 5 max 12) $100

DSLR not required, but helpful.  Point and shoot cameras will be acceptable.

Lunch is included in the cost.

 

June 19: Child Photography Workshop 7-9 PM $30

This one is for the parents who want to take better pictures of their children from

newborn through the teen years!  We'll teach camera settings, a little child psychology, and techniques to ensure you capture the best images and memories possible!

 

July 6: DSLR 101 Bootcamp 9-5 $120

Our most popular class teaches you the basics of your DSLR.  We cover camera settings, exposure,

lighting, composition and more!  We've had some great feedback regarding this class, and it's always a fun time with good people who share the same passion for photography!

 

We've also added 2 new workshops to our class list! 

 

Intro to HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography: July 31: 7-9PM $30

and

Intro to Flash Photography: Aug 9: 7-9 PM $30

 

 

Keep an eye out on our schedule as we plan on throwing in another social for all levels of photographers who just want to hang out with those who share an interest in photography!  We may also try to add another 101 class somewhere into the busy summer schedule if possible!

Jessica and Chris | Orange Beach AL Destination Wedding Photographers

We were honored to ask to travel to Orange Beach, AL to capture the wedding of Jessica and Chris.  They were so much fun and had a gorgous beach wedding.  While we love all our IL weddings it was definitely a wonderful opportunity to have a little change of scenery :)

Smoky Mountains in Spring Photography Gathering - April 19 - April 22

in Gatlinburg, TN April 19 - April 22 to capture the Great Smoky Mountains in Spring. This free of charge gathering is centered around 3 days of nature photography. We... will share our itinerary and you can participate in as much or little as you please. We have found hotels for $215 for the three days. Social gatherings will occur nightly to share images and experiences with other photographers.

This is gathering is free of charge and limited to 12 participants. Sign up as soon as possible to secure you spot.
