J&A Wedding | Bloomington-Normal IL Wedding Photography

He Clicks-She Clicks Center of Photography had so much fun with this couple.  They were supposed to have an outdoor wedding at the Funks Grove Temple of Trees.  Unfortunately for them it was pouring the morning of their wedding.  Not just a drizzle, but what appeared to be a monsoon.  We had planned on doing many of the photos before the ceremony, so we had to change our plans.  Fortunately for Jessica and Adam we have a lot of unique space in our downtown Bloomington studio.  We had the entire wedding party and family up there and were still able to give them the unique portraits they wanted.
This is our indoor barn wall.

Our studio is located in an older building so we have quite a bit of exposed brick.

What can we say...this wall color and our old piano made a perfect backdrop for this shot.  One of 'She Clicks' favorites of the day.

The rain did let up after the ceremony and we were able to grab some outdoor pictures with the beautiful fall colors in the background...so we got the best of both worlds!

This AWESOME cake came from Mad House Cakes.  Check them out here: http://www.madhousecakes.com !
We also sent them one of our newest, coolest products...a custom smart phone app, so they will always have their wedding pictures close at hand.  Here's a link if you want to check out what we have to offer: http://moblalbum.com/bjdflG2ZfN/gallery/35158  (If you copy and paste it in a text/email and open it on your phone then you tap or add to home page to install it as an app).  We also put together this fun video for them:

All of this is part of the exclusive He Clicks-She Clicks wedding photography experience.  We don't just shoot your day and send you on your way with a disc.  These pictures will be your first family heirloom and we take pride in what we do!

C&T | Peoria IL Wedding Photographer

We're finally getting this beautiful wedding on the blog.  Sometimes it's hard to narrow it down to just a few favorites to highlight.  This was one of those weddings!  As much as we love our Bloomington-Normal couples, it was nice to drive out to Peoria for a little change of scenery.  The couple got ready at the Mark Twain hotel, and the wedding and reception both took place at The Packard Plaza right next door.

Here's the gorgeous bride, right after stepping into her dress!
We love all the Tom's that have been part of our recent weddings.  She had her heels for the ceremony, then stepped into her bridal Tom's for the reception.  So while she danced the night away in comfort, a child in need somewhere around the world got a pair of shoes...definitely a win win situation! :)
The couple wanted to remain with tradition and not see each other until the walk down the aisle, however they also wanted to knock out some pictures before the ceremony.  We were able to take the girls and boys, one group at a time, down to the warehouse district for some fun portraits.  It worked out perfectly!

The ceremony.
It's amazing the angles captured when you have 2 photographers doing their thing!
It seems everytime we have a Peoria wedding there is always some big event on the riverfront that makes it nearly impossible to get there for pictures.  This time it was Oktoberfest...we won't mention it was September...Anyway, we love scouting for locations and were lucky that this courtyard was nearby (and free of the September's Oktoberfest crowds).
The newlyweds :)
This was the image all the guests were able to go home with that night.

If we haven't said it enough, we want to say it again...we feel very fortunate to be chosen to photograph the most beautiful couples in the midwest, with the best love stories, who throw the best parties on the biggest day of their lives.  C & T thanks for allowing us to do what we love and tell your story!
We wish you happiness and passion forever and always! ~ He Clicks-She Clicks

J&L | Normal IL Wedding Photography

We were very excited to photograph this wonderful couples wedding.  Not only were their locations AWESOME but they put a lot of thought into the details of their wedding day.  The day started off with L and her girls getting ready in a gorgeous suite of The Marriott in uptown Normal.

These bouquets were gorgeous!   Hand made with little trinkets to personalize each girls' bouquet.

This will always be one of our favorite staircases in Central IL to photograph our lovely couples.

Here's J getting himself ready to walk down the aisle!

Saying their vows at the Normal Theater.  What a fun location for a wedding.  They made it really special with their own movie and special touches.

We just love the 3-d glasses and popcorn tubs they incorporated!  Too much fun!

We had a little time in between the ceremony and reception to walk around uptown Normal, enjoy the gorgeous weather and get some great shots!

The reception was on the Medici rooftop.  They had it set up so beautifully!

This was a little set the bride and groom created for guests to have fun in.  They set out some disposable cameras and had cute little props.  We saw some adorable shots come from this!

And the closing shot of the night!  So happy L & J were easily convinced to take a walk up the street for one ending shot in front of the theater!  We wish you a happily ever after!
